a Market Town
Unique film dating back over ninety years is included in this video with the reopening of Bury Drill Hall (1907). There are many pre-war scenes, including the Radcliffe Charter Celebrations in 1935 and the Royal visit to Bury in 1938, together with glimpses of Gigg Lane and the Grammar School OTC.
